Prisavlje 10, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia

In these Terms, “ROLLBed”, “we”, “our” and “us” mean ROLLBed d.o.o., the seller. “ROLL” means the product you are buying.

2. Scope

These Terms apply to visitors of the Website, to customers purchasing for delivery within the United Kingdom, and to all quotations, orders and sales unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

By placing an order you confirm that you have read these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy; that you are at least 18 years old or otherwise legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and that the information you give at checkout is accurate and complete.

Our Shipping, Returns & Warranty document for your market sets out our delivery, returns and warranty terms in full. Where it differs from these Terms on those subjects, that document applies. On everything else — orders, pricing, intellectual property, liability and governing law — these Terms apply.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or any other law, which cannot lawfully be excluded.

2.1 Consumers and trade customers

You are a consumer if you are buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession. The rights in these Terms, including the right to cancel in §9, apply to consumers.

We treat your order as a trade order, governed by our Trade Terms, where you supply a business name, VAT number or other business registration number at checkout, or where we agree trade terms with you in writing by email. Trade orders carry no right to cancel.

If you supplied business details but are buying as a consumer, tell us at support@rollbed.co before delivery and we will treat your order as a consumer order.

We do not reclassify an order as a trade order after it has been accepted.

3. Products

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Because furniture is manufactured rather than printed, reasonable differences may occur between images and the delivered product — colour, upholstery texture, wood grain, stitching, manufacturing tolerances, monitor and mobile display differences, photographic lighting, and batch variation.

Images, videos, renders, illustrations, lifestyle photography and 3D visualisations are illustrative. Dimensions include tolerances normal within the furniture industry.

3.1 Fit and access

Before ordering, please check that the product fits the intended room; that entrances, staircases, lifts, corridors and turns allow delivery; that any required electrical connection is available; and that the mattress dimensions suit your selected product.

Failure to verify measurements before ordering is not a product defect.

Where delivery to your chosen room proves impossible because of access not disclosed to us, the delivery crew leaves the product at the nearest accessible point at your address. This does not affect your right to cancel.

3.2 Configuration

Where you configure a product — colour, finish, water resistance, accessories or other selectable options — you are responsible for checking your selections before completing checkout.

Selecting from our standard catalogue options does not make a product bespoke or personalised and does not remove your statutory right to cancel.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. The automated acknowledgement you receive confirms receipt only and is not acceptance.

A binding contract is formed when we send an Order Confirmation expressly accepting the order, or dispatch the products — whichever occurs first.

Until then we may reject or cancel any order for reasons including pricing errors, availability, production limitations, payment failure, suspected fraud, sanctions compliance, export or shipping restrictions, technical errors, or inability to fulfil the selected configuration. Any payment received is refunded to the original payment method.

5. Production, Delivery Timing and Reservations

5.1 Made-to-order production

ROLL products are manufactured after an order is placed. Estimated production and delivery times appear on the product page and in your Order Confirmation.

Where your delivery date falls more than thirty (30) days after the contract is formed, that longer period is expressly agreed between us at checkout and forms part of your contract. You see the estimated window before you pay.

Schedules may be affected by manufacturing capacity, supplier availability, quality control, shipping, customs inspections, weather, force majeure and other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We tell you about significant delays as soon as we reasonably can.

If we cannot deliver within the agreed period, you may set an additional reasonable period; if we still fail, you may cancel and receive a full refund. Where the law gives you a right to cancel immediately — including where delivery within the agreed time was essential — that right is unaffected.

Once production has commenced, modifications or cancellations may no longer be possible. Nothing here limits your right to cancel or any other statutory right.

5.2 Reservations and deposits

Where we offer a reservation, deposit or pre-order window, the amount paid secures your place in the production queue and is credited in full against the purchase price.

Reservation and deposit amounts are fully refundable at any time before they are converted into an order. This includes Kickstarter VIP reservations: if a VIP reservation is not converted into a confirmed order, the amount is refunded in full to the original payment method on request.

A reservation is not a contract of sale. The contract forms under §4.

6. Prices, Taxes, Duties and Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling.

6.1 Import duties — delivered duty paid

We ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Import duties, customs charges and brokerage fees are paid by us and are already included in the price you see. You will not receive a separate customs, duty or brokerage invoice for your order.

If a carrier or customs authority nonetheless invoices you for duty or import charges on an order we have accepted, contact support@rollbed.co and we will settle or reimburse it.

This does not apply where you arrange your own freight.

6.2 Taxes

The price you see is the total price you pay. No tax, duty, customs charge or other amount is added at checkout or on delivery.

6.3 Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, Stripe and other providers available at checkout. ROLLBed does not receive or store complete payment card details. By submitting payment you authorise the relevant provider to charge the total shown.

6.4 Ownership and risk

Ownership remains with ROLLBed until payment is received in full.

Risk passes only when the products are physically delivered to you or to a person you have authorised to receive them. For business customers, ownership and risk transfer according to the agreed commercial terms, quotation or applicable Incoterms.

7. Delivery

We manufacture in China and ship through our logistics partners.

7.1 Delivery service level

We deliver to your room of choice where that service is available. A two-person delivery crew carries the product to the room you nominate and sets it down there, boxed. Assembly and packaging removal are not included unless stated.

We are working with our logistics partners to extend room-of-choice delivery across every area we sell to, and it is not yet available everywhere. If we cannot provide it to your address, we will tell you before we ship. You may then either accept threshold delivery — to the first accessible ground-floor point at your address — or cancel your order for a full refund.

Both services are included in the price and neither costs extra. If you accept threshold delivery and later change your mind about the product, exactly the same return terms apply as if the product had been carried into your room.

7.2 Delivery estimates

Estimated delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates, unless expressly stated. They may vary because of manufacturing schedules, quality inspections, port congestion, customs clearance, transport delays, severe weather, public holidays, carrier delays and force majeure. We make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant delays.

7.3 Your responsibilities

Please ensure that delivery information is accurate, that someone is available to receive the delivery, that the address is safely accessible, and that any building access restriction is disclosed before shipment.

Missed deliveries: if a scheduled delivery cannot be completed because nobody is present or access was not as described, we rebook once at no charge. If a second attempt fails for the same reason, we may pass on the carrier’s actual redelivery or storage charge, which we will tell you about before rebooking. We will not charge you an amount we have not disclosed to you in advance.

If delivery becomes impossible for reasons attributable to you, we may cancel the order after reasonable notice and deduct costs actually incurred, where permitted by law.

8. Inspection and Transit Damage

On delivery, please inspect the packaging and product as soon as you reasonably can.

If you see damage, it helps us if you photograph the packaging before opening, photograph the damage, keep the packaging until the claim is resolved, and tell us at support@rollbed.co.

These are requests, not conditions. They let us resolve carrier claims quickly, but failure to provide them does not affect your statutory rights or your right to a remedy for a product that arrived damaged. We do not refuse claims for want of photographs.

The delivery crew photographs your product on delivery and you receive a copy.

9. Right to Cancel

As a consumer buying online you have a statutory right to cancel within fourteen (14) days without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

We voluntarily extend this to thirty (30) days. The first 14 days are your statutory right; the remaining 16 are given by us on the same terms and may be relied on in the same way.

The period begins on the day you, or someone you nominate, take physical possession of the goods. Where products are delivered separately, it begins when the final item is received.

9.1 How to cancel

Send a clear statement before the period expires, to support@rollbed.co. You may use the model cancellation form in Annex A, but you are not obliged to.

Please include your name, order number, the products concerned, the date received, and a clear statement that you are cancelling. You then have fourteen (14) days to return the goods.

9.2 We arrange the return

ROLL products cannot be returned by post. You do not need to find a carrier, obtain a pallet or build a crate.

We organise collection. A two-person crew comes to your address, brings all packaging materials required, and prepares the product for transport. We agree a collection window with you.

Please have the mattress unrolled and out of the cabinet — it comes back with the ROLL.

Keeping the original packaging is helpful but is not required, and your refund is not affected if you no longer have it.

9.3 Cost of return

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. This is charged at the actual amount invoiced by the carrier and will not exceed £300. We deduct it from your refund and send you the carrier’s invoice.

We charge no restocking fee, handling fee or administrative fee of any kind.

9.4 Reduction in value

You may unpack the product, set it up, operate the mechanism and lie on the mattress — everything you would do to examine it in a shop. This costs you nothing.

You are liable only for a reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Where a deduction applies it is the actual cost of restoring the product, itemised, with no fee added:

Condition on inspectionDeduction
Mattress clean — no visible soiling, no odour£0
Mattress dirty or soiled, cleanableProfessional cleaning, max £100
Cover soiled beyond cleaning, foam core soundCover replacement — £130 Queen / £80 Twin
Mattress soiled or carrying odour that cleaning cannot removeMattress and cover — £300 Queen / £200 Twin
Cabinet damaged, parts missing, or mechanism impairedActual repair or part cost, itemised

Before any deduction is made we send you dated photographs of what we found and an itemised breakdown. If you disagree, contact us and we will review it with you.

9.5 Refund

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, less any deduction above, within fourteen (14) days of being informed of your cancellation. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you supply proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier.

Refunds go to the original payment method and carry no fee.

9.6 Return authorisation

Please contact us before returning a product so we can issue a reference and arrange collection. This is an operational step so we can send a crew to the right address at the right time — it does not affect the validity of a statutory cancellation, and we will not refuse a cancellation because it was notified without a reference number.

10. Your Statutory Rights and Our Guarantee

10.1 Consumer Rights Act 2015 — separate from cancellation

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. This is a different right from the right to cancel in §9, and it applies whether or not you have changed your mind.

If your ROLL does not meet those standards:

  • Short-term right to reject. For 30 days from delivery you may reject the goods and receive a full refund. You pay nothing, and no deduction applies.
  • After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If that fails or cannot be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you are entitled to a price reduction or to reject the goods.
  • Burden of proof. Where a fault appears within the first six months, it is presumed to have been there at delivery and you do not have to prove it.
  • Time limit for a claim. You may bring a claim under the Act for up to six years in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and five years in Scotland.

We bear all costs of any remedy under this section, including collection. Nothing below limits these rights.

How we put it right: we repair, send you the part, or replace the unit — whichever suits the fault. Where a complete replacement is required, we ship the replacement before collecting the original, so you are not left without a bed.

10.2 Commercial guarantee — ROLL cabinet and mechanism, 2 years

In addition to your statutory rights, we guarantee the cabinet, frame, motor, gearbox, drive chain, clutch, control board, wiring, frame welds and joints, cabinet structure and tensioning system against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from delivery, to the original purchaser.

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. In particular, it does not shorten the period during which you may bring a claim under §10.1.

10.3 Commercial guarantee — ROLL mattress, 5 years

ROLLBed d.o.o., Prisavlje 10, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, guarantees the ROLL mattress for five (5) years from delivery, to the original purchaser, not prorated.

Full covered defects, the indentation threshold, exclusions and the claim procedure are set out in our Shipping, Returns & Warranty. In summary, it covers permanent indentation deeper than 20 mm, measured with the mattress unweighted against its nominal height of 140 mm, splitting or cracking of the foam core, seam or zipper failure, and loss of support preventing correct rolling.

Mattress claims are assessed from photographs. You do not need to return the mattress, and normal staining or soiling from ordinary use does not affect this guarantee.

10.4 Exclusions

Our commercial guarantees do not cover damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorised repair or modification, use contrary to the instructions, commercial or short-term-let use, incorrect electrical supply, or exceeding the published weight limit of 300 lbs (135 kg).

Cosmetic wear from ordinary use and normal ageing of materials are not defects. Normal staining and soiling from ordinary use does not affect the mattress warranty — we assess whether the foam has failed, not how the mattress looks. Staining and soiling are not themselves defects and are not covered. Also not covered: the smell of a new mattress in the first days after unpacking, which comes from the composition of the foam, is not harmful and clears with normal ventilation; colour change in the foam over time; pilling of the cover fabric; and obsolescence where we later release a newer model or specification.

Tell us as soon as you reasonably can after discovering a possible defect, at support@rollbed.co. We may ask for photographs, video or other reasonable information before arranging a remedy. Photographs help us resolve matters in days rather than weeks, but they are not a condition of your statutory rights.

11. Product Safety

ROLL products must be assembled, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the supplied instructions, and are intended for normal residential indoor use unless expressly stated otherwise.

You must not modify electrical or mechanical components; remove or bypass safety features; use incompatible replacement parts or accessories; exceed the published weight limit; operate a damaged product; or continue using a product that appears to malfunction.

Moving parts create pinch and crush hazards. Children should never operate the product without adult supervision. Keep pets, clothing, cables and personal belongings clear of moving components during operation.

ROLLBed is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper assembly, installation, modification, misuse or failure to follow the supplied instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

If you believe a ROLL product presents a safety risk, contact us immediately at support@rollbed.co.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property relating to the Website and ROLL products remains the exclusive property of ROLLBed d.o.o. or its licensors — trademarks, logos, trade names, product designs, registered designs, patents and applications, copyright, photographs, videos, renders, CAD files, technical drawings, software, website content, text, graphics, icons, product configurators, interface elements, databases and marketing materials.

Nothing on the Website transfers ownership of any intellectual property.

You may access and print portions of the Website for personal, non-commercial use in connection with evaluating or purchasing ROLL products. Without our prior written consent you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, commercially exploit or create derivative works from any part of the Website or our products, except where the law expressly permits.

13. User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, photographs, videos or other content, you confirm that you own or have permission to use it, that it does not infringe third-party rights, and that it is lawful and not misleading, defamatory or abusive.

You grant ROLLBed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, display and distribute that content to operate, improve and promote our business. You may withdraw this licence at any time by contacting support@rollbed.co, after which we will cease new use within a reasonable period, though we are not required to recall material already printed or distributed.

We may, but need not, remove content that breaches these Terms or the law.

14. Website Use, Liability and Force Majeure

14.1 Website use

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with security measures, scrape or automatically collect content without permission, use the Website unlawfully, place fraudulent orders, or impersonate another person or organisation.

Our Website is hosted using Shopify and integrates third-party services including payment processors, analytics, logistics, marketing and social media providers, whose own terms and privacy policies may apply.

14.2 Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, ROLLBed is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, business interruption or data loss.

For business customers only, our total aggregate liability arising from any order shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the relevant products. For consumers, our liability is limited only to the extent permitted by consumer protection law.

14.3 Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labour shortages, governmental action, sanctions, supplier failures, manufacturing interruptions, raw material shortages, shipping disruption, customs delays, port congestion, transport failures, utility outages, cyber incidents and internet failures.

Where reasonably possible we notify affected customers and take reasonable steps to minimise delay. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

15. Complaints, Governing Law and Disputes

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at support@rollbed.co. We aim to resolve complaints promptly. If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, we will tell you whether we are willing to use an alternative dispute resolution provider and, if so, which one.

These Terms and all contracts formed through the Website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer provisions of the law of the United Kingdom, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the United Kingdom.

Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Zagreb, Croatia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

16. General

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it or of any other right.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer ours provided this does not reduce your statutory rights.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping, Returns & Warranty, Trade Terms, Order Confirmation and any product-specific terms presented at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and ROLLBed regarding your purchase.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, products, legal requirements or services. The version in effect when your order is accepted continues to govern that purchase.

A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of them.
